Locked

Why we lock first

  • Encourages independent thinking
  • Keeps the loudest voice from setting the anchor
  • Compare on evidence, not on who spoke first

What is interview scorecard software?

Interview scorecard software gives every interviewer the same competencies and the same rating scale, so a panel is comparing the same things. In Panelynx an interviewer scores and locks before seeing anyone else’s: locking your own scorecard is what opens the panel to you, one column per interviewer and one row per competency, with the evidence behind each score.

Compare the evidence. Decide together.

See how each interviewer scored across competencies, then dive into the evidence.

Record decision

Scorecards are part of the Panelynx applicant tracking system, so every score lands on the candidate record the pipeline is already tracking.

Better decisions start with independent scorecards.

Questions people ask about scorecards

If yours is not here, ask it. Yohan answers these himself.

Ask a question
Why are other interviewers’ scores hidden until I lock mine?

Because the first score written anchors everyone who reads it next. The gate is your own lock: locking yours is what opens the panel to you. Recruiters and hiring managers running the process see the round throughout, since somebody has to.

What does locking actually freeze?

Your confirmed competency scores, which is what the comparison reads. Your per-question notes and your overall recommendation can still be edited afterwards. The point of the lock is that you commit your reading before you see anyone else’s, not that the file is sealed.

What happens when the panel disagrees?

The comparison badges every question where the spread is two points or more, and the consensus view shows how split the room is before anyone speaks. Disagreement is the useful signal; the tool surfaces it rather than averaging it away.

Does the AI write or change a score?

Never. AI reads what interviewers wrote and offers a second opinion with its reasoning shown. It does not write a score of record, move a candidate or record a decision.

Do interviewers need a paid seat to fill in a scorecard?

No. You pay for the recruiters running the process; interviewers and hiring managers take part at no extra cost. It is an allowance rather than an unlimited one, and it rises with the rung and with how many recruiter seats you hold. The pricing page carries the number.
